The arXiv (arXiv.org), a project by Cornell University Library, provides open access to over a third of a million e-prints in physics, mathematics, computer science and quantitative biology. In production since 1991, the arXiv provides a mechanism for researchers to disseminate manuscripts and published articles to a wide community of researchers.

Communications on Applied Electronics (CAE) permits authors to post the published version of their research manuscripts on arXiv. An internal study conducted by Communications on Applied Electronics (CAE) indicates that articles reproduced in the arXiv received 55% more citations on average than non-deposited articles.
In pursuance of increasing participation with arXiv program, CAE has introduced changes to the copyright transfer policies, whereby, license, to reproduce the CAE's published papers, is granted to arXiv.
Clause governing reproduction of CAE copyrighted materials on arXiv
It is mandatory to upload only the published version of the paper.
While uploading the paper on arXiv, the author will be asked to submit meta-data details regarding the paper. This section will explain the various parameters that the authors will encounter while uploading the paper.
